18 July 2015

Your shortlist with 7 things you don’t want to miss at Buiten Westen Festival!

This June we can dance at one of the best festivals in Amsterdam: Buiten Westen! Pleinvrees, Next Monday’s Hangover, ZeeZout, NGHTDVSN, Cartel and Paardenkracht will make sure you dance of your shoes between 12 and 11 pm at music of the best dj’s. Did you know Fritz Kalkbrenner, Guy Gerber and Aeroplane playing as well?

I can’t wait! Really looking forward to a day with friends, sun, beers and good music. But! Buiten Westen is more than only good music. I’ve selected 7 to do’s en to see’s at the festival.

The Ferris wheel >> to do at Buiten Westen Amsterdam 2015

It’s an eye-catcher, the Ferris wheel at the festival! Although you sometimes have to stand in line for a while to get in. But it’s so awesome to make a ride while you have view on the whole festival!

Line-up  >> to see at Buiten Westen Amsterdam 2015

The line-up of Buiten Westen gets better with the years! This year for example with Fritz Kalkbrenner! This German producer we know from “Sky and Sand”, a song he produced with big brother Paul Kalkbrenner. Fritz facilitates a live show you don’t wanna miss!

Festival market >> to buy at Buiten Westen Amsterdam 2015

As in previous years there’s a festival market at Buiten Westen where you can buy a new festival outfit or some cool accessories! Want to make it even better? Get yourself a tattoo! At Human Rights Tattoo they tattoo a letter out of the declaration of universal human rights. You’re a cool tattoo richer and at the same time you supports a really good project.

Foodtrucks >> to eat at Buiten Westen Amsterdam 2015

I am so happy that the food at festivals is getting better and better! On Buiten Westen you’ll find food trucks of Burgermeester, Pomms, Acai and for example Sateman. And I’ve heard that we can expect different organic products from small Amsterdam caterers!

Water >> to drink at Buiten Westen Amsterdam 2015

Buiten Westen was one of the first festivals last summer where you could get free water from water taps! It is now mandatory to let party people refill their bottles. When the sun shines I could use some extra moisture, so you understand that I am very happy with the water taps!
