North is one of my favorite neighborhoods in Amsterdam. And yet I often hear people say they ‘almost never’ visit this part of the city. WHAT A SHAME! So when team Le Foodwalk asked which neighbourhood should be the next one for a culinary walk, I was sure: Amsterdam North. On Sunday, July 7th, you can follow a mapped-out route to discover new restaurants and enjoyable neighbourhoods in North. During the Le Foodwalk Amsterdam North, you will have 5 delicious bites and 2 drinks ready for you at 5 restaurants, included with your ticket.
The route through North starts at Amsterdam Central Station, which is easily accessible for everyone. From there, you take the ferry to North and walk towards the NDSM Wharf. Afterward, you take the ferry back to Amsterdam CS, where you can easily access your bike, the tram, or hop on the train home. Starting directly in North at the first location is also possible!
