Unique blend of culinary cultures and (star) restaurants during Bite of Amsterdam

What I love about food festivals is that you can taste dishes from all over the world and discover new flavours and combinations. Bite of Amsterdam provides a platform for top Amsterdam restaurants to showcase their most popular dishes in attractive tasting portions (from €7.50). This allows you to sample from all your favourite restaurants or discover future favourites in an approachable way.

join the Chef’s Table from michelin starred restaurants

Of course, you can also join the extensive Chef’s Tables hosted by various acclaimed restaurants from outside the city. Opt for a three-course lunch or dinner and literally get a glimpse into the kitchen as top chefs showcase their most creative and impressive dishes. Ideal for connoisseurs eager to experience the cuisine of an iconic restaurant.

Be amazed by dishes from award-winning chefs such as: Alain Caron (Café Caron), Thijs Meliefste (Meliefste), Bas van Kranen (Flore), Erik & Juliën van Loo (Parkheuvel), Jermain de Rozario (De Rozario), Julius Jaspers (chef-entrepreneur), Soenil Bahadoer (De Lindehof), Tim Golsteijn (Bougainville), Vanessa Huang (Ephernité, Taiwan), Jacques Pourcel (Les Jardin des Sens, France), Jef Schuur (Bij Jef), and Floris van Straalen (Restaurant van Oost). I’m sure there are names here that you may not be familiar with! These culinary masters delight and astonish with their finest creations, ranging from traditional to innovative dishes.

TASTE, cook and learn at the workshops during BITE of amsterdam

During BITE, there’s so much expertise to explore; I’m personally super excited about the workshop program. It’s an opportunity to taste, cook, and learn with and from the best in the field! Explore the culinary market and discover cooking, eating, and drinking trends, trendy kitchen items, artisanal preparation methods, and delicious products.

Need a break for some food and drinks? Taste the finest wines, artisanal beers, or exciting cocktails you can enjoy on one of the many terraces, then stick around to dance until the sun sets. As for restaurants, you can expect to find a variety of options Vuurzee (Robert Kranenborg), Saam (Margot Janse & Jasper Hermans), Bánh mì Deli (Vinh Trinh), De Harbour Club, Restaurant Showw, R21 (Orlando David), FÊTEVIS and GREEN (Peter Lute), Bridges (Raoul Meuwese).
