weekends in amsterdam; the best tips for this (ORANGE!) weekend

➊ boating and terrace season opens at DECK IN NOrth

Great news, as Deck Amsterdam’s terrace is reopening this King’s Day weekend. And it just so happens to be the spot in Amsterdam North where there’s plenty of room to dock your King’s Day boat! Let the sun shine again, because it promises to be a wonderful terrace and boating season. With a menu full of the world’s best street-food bites, signature cocktails, and cold beers, the terrace at Tolhuiskanaal pays homage to this quirky neighborhood.

In honor of the terrace opening, Deck has recorded a sequel promotional video with my friends from CityGuys. The guys dock in a humorous way and thus open the terrace. Click here for the video. So funny!

In North, I predict that Deck will become this season’s hidden gem among the terraces, but with a packed agenda of Samba events, take-away packages, and DJ sets. Fun for King’s Day: with the on-the-go package, you can enjoy your favorite dishes from the Deck menu, or take a bottle of wine onto the water. Of course, there are also non-alcoholic alternatives for the captain! More info & reservatipons >>
