Flea Market Tel Aviv: a must visit in Old Jaffa

5 May 2016

the spot to have a bite: Flea Market in Tel Aviv!

Trendy and bubbling Tel Aviv is full with nice spots to have a bite, a drink or to go shopping. Another thing you definitely have to visit when you are in Tel Aviv, is the Flea Market in Old Jaffa. Old Jaffa is the old city centre of Tel Aviv full of culture and history. But also full with painted garage doors and cool hipster hotspots. In the small, tiny streets you will find a lot of restaurants where you can get delicious food and where its is super fun to hang out. The streets are full with chairs, the lights go on in the evening and there is live music on the streets.

Flea Market Tel Aviv

The Flea Market reminded us a little of the vibe in the Jordaan or Barcelona. This is the spot where locals (especially in the weekend) will go for a bite or a drink with friends. From far you can hear people talk and music playing. So much fun! We tried to visit as many restaurants as we could and in this blog we tell you about our favourites!

Main Bazar >> Flea Market Tel Aviv

Main Bazar is a hummus bar where they serve home-made hummus. You have to eat hummus when you are in Tel Aviv so only that is already a reason for this to be our favourite!

De Luxe >> Flea Market Tel Aviv

At this BBQ restaurant all men will be happy. The menu contains mainly meat dishes (like burgers and spare ribs) which will be prepared at the BBQ.

Margoza >> Flea Market Tel Aviv

This small bakery is perfect for a coffee and a croissant in the morning. Wake up slowly and see the streets of Old Jaffa come alive.

Fleamarket >> Flea Market Tel Aviv

Restaurant Fleamarket has got this cool industrial interior. A brick wall, old medicine cabinets, colours glass plates and cast iron chairs. Here they serve bistro meals like risotto, filled calamares and grilled entrecote.

Onza >> Flea Market Tel Aviv

From the outside this looks like a tiny spot with a large terrace; but as soon as you walk inside you find out how huge this hotspot is! And pretty much every night its full with people. Here you can eat simple, delicious meals. Perfect to go to with friends after a hard day at work.

Are you in Tel Aviv, you definitely have to visit the Flea Market!
