the chippy amsterdam brings fish & chips to holland
The Chippy Amsterdam, the first fish & chips restaurant of Amsterdam!
Owner Justin Brown, the British chef who is also known from Bao Buns Amsterdam, introduced the fish & chips dishes, fully prepared in the traditional way, in Amsterdam. And therefor the dishes are served, as they should be, wrapped in newspapers. That is so traditional that it is hip again, how nice! You can choose from all the classic fish & chips. Such as the different fish species as cod, haddock or plaice. But here they serve also homemade pies, homemade Chippy Gravy and Mushy Peas. Plus, at The Chippy they also thought of vegans: meat, fish and fries are prepared in separate ovens. And one more plus: all the dishes are available for take away. Ideal!
But where there’s good food you also need good drinks. And so The Chippy also serves cocktails and craft beers. Like! They also promise funky beats in a trendy setting and are open till 10 pm. Sounds like a very cosy asset of the Kinker!
