Why you want to go to Café Soleil Amsterdam as soon as possible

Things are getting better and better in the Papaverhoek neighborhood! Coffee bar Yusu recently hosted a pop-up in the Kometenbakkerij building, and New New Golden House, a superb Chinese restaurant where your evening can turn into karaoke, opened its doors. The newest addition to the neighborhood? Café Soleil Amsterdam, a delightful Mediterranean restaurant focusing on excellent comfort food. At Taverno, the emphasis wasn't just on food and drinks, but also on festivals, theater, and other festivities. Whether that will also be the case at Café Soleil (the terrace certainly lends itself to it!) is still unknown.

Menu Café Soleil

Enjoying Southern European cuisine, right here in Amsterdam-Noord. At Café Soleil, it’s possible. From Thursday through Sunday, you can visit Soleil for dinner starting at 5:00 PM. We’ve already spotted a pizza oven in the renovation images. Besides pizzas, the menu will feature the best the Mediterranean cuisine has to offer. Think smaller dishes to share, such as tortillas, hummus, chicken piri piri, bread with dips, and olives. This makes Soleil the ideal spot for an evening full of Southern European conviviality – their huge terrace is perfect for this! – and perhaps for rolling on to the Schietclub afterwards . Whatever your plans are, one thing is certain: these days, you experience long summer evenings in Amsterdam-Noord, and Café Soleil is part of it.
