WEEKEND, and what kind of weekend! We just got back from Ibiza where we created a new travel guide with 17 addresses on Ibiza you probably don’t know yet. Five of them will open the doors this year so there are always new things to discover when you’re going back to Ibiza! And this weekend we’re celebrating freedom and hopefully in the sun! No idea what to do on Liberation Day? We gathered our favourite to do’s on this special day. Not in the mood to go all out on one of the festivals? What do you think of an going to an Italian brunch?   • Shopping time! It’s time for another edition of the Vintage Kilo Sale at RADION this Saturday. For  15 euro per kilo you can add some nice items to your spring wardrobe.

  • Mother’s day is around the corner. Check our favourite gifts!
  • More into designer items? Visit the Designer Vintage Sale at InterContinental Amstel this Saturday. Open from 10 AM, so be on time to have a first look. Tip: get your tickets now! 

Weekend guide museum en culture

  • You can now go to the Tropenmuseum for the exhibition Body Art where you learn everything about body decorations. From make-up and tattoos, to skin implants and surgical changes. Sounds cool right?
  • Until June 7 you can go to Wiliam Eggleston in FOAM, one of the worlds leading photographers shows his work made during roadtrips through Southern states in America.
  • Last call: In the Stedelijk Museum you can see Verliefde Camera by  Ed van der Elksen. One of the biggest Dutch photographers and documentary filmmakers of the 20th century shows his best work of the last 25 years. You can see the exhibition until May 21.
