you want to know about these 17 hotspots in ibiza!
La Paloma: Ok, ok.. If you have been to Ibiza multiple times and you love food, chances are big that you already know about La Paloma. But since it’s our favourite restaurant on the island it had to be in this list. As soon as I book my ticket to Ibiza, I also reserve a table for a nice dinner at this lovely restaurant, located at the middle of the island. You sit in a romantic garden and on the menu you’ll see seasonal dishes.
Calle Can Pou 4, Sant Llorenc de Balafia, Ibiza – palomaibiza.com
Nagai: If you drive from Ibiza city to Sant Llorenc, you will notice a house with Geisha graffiti on it for sure. It’s the restaurant Nagai and if you love sushi and Asian fusion dishes then I recommend you go here for dinner. The menu is a mix of Japanse dishes with Mediterranean, Mexican and Thai influences. Tapas and sushi under one roof!
Santa Eulària des Riu, Ibiza – nagairestaurant.com
Es Torrent: One of the nicest fish restaurants on the island is Es Torrent if you’d ask me. You find this restaurant in a bay which has the same name, a 20 minute drive from the airport. Once started as a small wooden beach tent, but now it’s a restaurant with a nice beach club. Here you go for delicious seafood and authentic dishes like paella, clams and squid.
Carretera Sant Josep- Eivissa, Sant Josep de sa Talaia, Ibiza – estorrent.net
Ses Escoles: In the old school of San Lorenzo, you’ll now find the restaurant Ses Escoles. It once started as a place where they created olive oil, but now it’s a gastronomic restaurant where they cook with what the seasons offer. When we eat there, we always buy a bottle of olive oil to take home with us. Definitely try one of the ‘Cocas’, a sort of pizza with local ingredients. And afterwards, get a piece of meat to share. Ses Escoles is known for their good grilled meat. Ask for a table near the kitchen so you can watch the Chefs cooking!
Ctra. Vella de Portinatx, Sant Joan de Labritja, Ibiza – canmiquelguasch.com
Pastis: This tiny restaurant in located in downtown Ibiza and is great if you want to have a romantic evening together. Make sure to make a reservation, because it’s always busy, but in a good and cozy way! The menu is French, and if you wouldn’t know better you’d for a moment think you’re eating in Paris.
Carrer d’Avicenna 2, Ibiza-stad – pastisibiza.com
Sa Caleta: Next to a small beach, you’ll find this restaurant that serves tasty fish dishes. A nice place to eat and drink something in the shadow after you went for a swim. Do order the mussels, they’re just so good!
Platja d’es Bol Nou, Sant Josep, Ibiza – restaurantesacaleta.com
Cala Bonita: Keep this place a secret.. Between Ibiza city and Santa Eulalia, you’ll find this lovely beach bar in a beautiful bay with a great small beach! This is where you go for cocktails and good Mediterranean food. I instantly get happy once I sit down here underneath a parasol to get a cold drink!
Playa de s’Estanyol Camí de s’Estanyol, Santa Eulalia del Río, Ibiza – calabonitaibiza.com
S’ Escalinata: In Ibiza city, this hotspot is my favourite! Open from early in the morning until late in the evening, and always a great place for lunch. The sandwiches are so good! And while sitting at the stairs in the old town, it’s a lovely place to people watch.
Carrer Portal Nou 10, Ibiza-stad – sescalinata.es
El Chiringuito: However getting a spot here in the summer is hard, this is one of the nicest spots along the beach, pre-season and off season. The food is soo good en it is a nice place to have brunch at during the weekend, and go for a beach walk at Salinas afterwards.
Playa Es Cavallet, Ibiza – elchiringuitoibiza.com
La Granja: This actually is a members-only retreat. BUT… you can make a reservation at the restaurant for a spot at the farmer’s table where you can get a special lunch where ingredients from the farm end up onto your plate.
Carretera Forada a Sant Mateu, Ibiza – lagranjaibiza.com
Babylon Beach: If you want to go to the beach, but not at a fancy place, then you want to go to Babylon Beach! I love going here, because they have great bio dishes on the menu and the atmosphere is so good and relaxed.
Carrer Bartomea Tur Clapés 20, Santa Eulalia del Río, Ibiza – babylonbeachbar.com
Restaurant & shop Los Enamorados: When Los Enamorados opened in Portinatx, this place got a good name right away. It’s in the North of the island, and it’s not so busy and has a nice beach. If you want to have lunch or dinner with a beautiful view on the water and the sunset, go to Los Enamorados. Make sure to visit their store too, they sell (vintage) treasures from all over the world!
Ctra. Vénda de Portinatx 103, Portinatx, Ibiza – losenamoradosibiza.com

Izakaya: If you love Japanse food, keep this restaurant in mind next time you want to go for a good dinner with cocktails and delicious Asian dishes. Order the crispy rice with spicy tuna. Yumm!
Gare du Nord: In San Joan, there is a B&B with the same name which has been open since last year, and now you can go to their restaurant too to have some food. Nice to do after visiting the hippie market at the town square of San Joan.
The Butcher: YES, this summer the famous hamburger from Amsterdam will also be in Ibiza!
Sir Joan: This will be the IT-hotel of the summer with only 38 rooms and located in the center of Ibiza city.
