Standing on Mount Teide, you feel completely cut off from the outside world... But nothing could be further from the truth, because within two hours you can be back on the beach with a cocktail in your hand. It's incredibly cool to take the cable car up. If you really want to climb all the way to the top, it's a steep 40-minute climb! Don't forget to apply for a permit one or two months in advance.
