You probably follow Your Little Black Book to be the first to know about new restaurants opening. Sometimes, we know that something is coming, but there is almost nothing known about the concept, the menu, or the interior, and there is only a logo on an Instagram page to see. Sometimes, we do know a lot about what’s happening, and we know the chefs or the team, but there is no exact opening date yet. In any case, we don’t want to deprive you of the scoop at the coffee machine at work, so we will tell you here all year about restaurants that will soon open their doors in Amsterdam. Enjoy reading about what you can look forward to!

 | TIP: Which restaurants in Amsterdam have just opened this year? You can read that in this long list!

Tako Dining

Rumour has it: the team behind YUZU is planning to open a taco restaurant. Other than offering modern-style Mexican dining, not much is known yet. To be continued…

Esra Amsterdam has launched a crowdfunding

Want to become a co-owner of a restaurant? Now you can do so thanks to the crowdfunding campaign by Esra Amsterdam. It will be where passion drives cooking, with hints of Turkish influences.

Kazue

Like Café Wiener (see below), Kazue Amsterdam will soon open at Toren Overhoeks. Part of the Maritim Hotel, this will be the Japanese restaurant of Amsterdam-Noord you’ll want to visit. The bar will offer an extensive tea menu (including matcha) and unique Japanese-inspired cocktails.

Rumour has it… Zoldering is opening a second location

The rumour mill is buzzing: the owners of Zoldering are opening a second location on Barentszstraat (Zeeheldenbuurt) in Amsterdam. Specifically in the building that formerly housed Worst and Marius. Details are still sparse, but we’ll watch this news.

Wiener Café Amsterdam

In the Maritim Hotel, Wiener Café Amsterdam is set to open soon. This hotel promises to be a unique melting pot, featuring meeting spaces for over 4,500 people, 579 hotel rooms, and various dining options, including Wiener Café. It will serve as the hotel’s living room, where guests and locals can enjoy a coffee, a newspaper, or one of the Austrian à la carte dishes.
