Although the weekend officially starts on Friday, we’ve felt weekend’ish all week. Because hello summer in Amsterdam! Sunbeams, bare legs, happy people, yes, summer has arrived in the capital. YAY! And I have to admit, this nice weather makes you want to go out even more. Spending all the evenings with friends in the park, eating outside or on a boat. The weather forecast looks good so this weekend we hold on to that vibe. There are so much fun things to do! – Vegans pay attention! Saturday and Sunday De Hallen will be transformed into vegan-heaven during the Viva Las Vega’s Food Festival. With foodtrucks, pop-up restaurants and stalls that are all about vegetable food!
– Sunday from 14:00 hours you can enjoy yourself some fresh fish and lobster straight from the bbq during Dok & Lobster at Dok Amsterdam! The perfect closure of the weekend is what we think ;-)

– Did you also had to cry-laugh-cry-laugh harder at Intouchables? Do it again, this weekend during the Rooftop Movienights of Floor17.

– 100 years in 100 pieces of arts, that’s what you can admire during Made in Amsterdam! This gives you an overview of the most important artists and movements in the Amsterdam art world of the past century. Ends July 31!
– Till August 28 you can go to the Stedelijk Museum for Wonen in de Amsterdamse School! This exhibition gives a spectaculair overview of interior designs of the Amsterdamse School: furniture, lamps, clocks, ceramics, textile and graphic designs. A must!
