Why you should visit Toni's Deli
Chances are you're familiar with Mundi coffee shop on Postjesweg, as well as the nearby restaurant on Felperlaan. What they have in common? Both Mundi and Felperlaan, and the new Toni's Deli, have the same owners. As you might expect – with a coffee shop like Mundi – the coffee at Toni's is strong and the food freshly prepared. The need for a sandwich shop in this neighborhood was partly self-serving: the entrepreneurial duo felt they lacked a good lunch spot in the area. Perch.
Menu Toni's Deli
As the name suggests, Toni's sells more than just sandwiches: it's also a deli, featuring Italian delicacies. From natural wines to delicious olive oil (straight from Italy), Toni's has a wide selection. They drew inspiration from Roscioli in Rome – a shop brimming with delicacies, complete with a display case of fresh snacks and a number of small tables scattered throughout. The cozy atmosphere and love of good food are palpable, and it's hard to get more Italian than Roscioli. As you might expect, Toni's shares the same atmosphere.
Toni's Deli also features a large lunch menu, packed with soups, salads, and their acclaimed sandwiches. The sandwiches are the star of the show, and you can taste it. They're anything but a sandwich you'd make at home. Savor the flavors of Italy in the tuna salad and pickled cucumber sandwich, or the vegetarian caponata sandwich with Sicilian sauce, a favorite even among the most carnivorous. Heading out of town? 🍂 These are my favorite walking and drinking spots in the Netherlands.
To be honest... I don't see myself living outside the city anytime soon, but on weekends I do enjoy getting out into nature. That's why I've created a YLBB shortlist of the most beautiful hiking areas, complete with a great spot for drinks nearby.
My perfect Sunday? First, a walk, then plopping down somewhere with a treat or a hot chocolate (or, of course, a glass of wine and bitterballen!).

I used to think Halloween was stupid 🎃.
But since I became a mother, it has become one of our favorite holidays!
