Thirty5ive Amsterdam: favoriete wine bar with great food in East

8 February 2017

good wines and fine dining at thirty5ive wine & food bar

The fact that Amsterdam East is full of lovely restaurant isn’t news, but if we can tip off one restaurant then it has to be Thirty5ive Wine & Food bar on the Javaplein. This hotspot has been there for a while and I’ve been there quite a few times for drinks, but I’ve never had a real meal there. As you can understand, that had to change. Recently me and my lover had a delicious dinner at Thirty5ive Amsterdam. For a while now there’s been a new Chef in the kitchen and my-oh-my, you’re really going to want to try it out for  yourself.

What I like so much about Thirty5ive Amsterdam is that the atmosphere is so relaxed, but that you can eat really well there. The seating against the wall is really nice, because you have a view of the entire place, but still get the feeling that it’s really just the two of you. Go here on date night with your lover or with your friends, taste lots of stuff on the menu and ask the owner and sommelier Simo to pour the matching wines. It’s so cool to see how much knowledge he has!

The menu is adjusted every night to the wine selection of the day and Chef Brian cooks with farm to table products as much as possible. In the season and organic or sustainable where it’s possible. During our night we enjoyed a delicious meal and tried a lot from the menu. Piece by piece it was SO good! If you’re looking to go out to dinner in Amsterdam East soon at a good restaurant, where they have a lot of wine knowledge, then you’ll definitely want to go to Thirty5ive Amsterdam. Check out the photos to get a good impression!
