why we love the hoxton hotel in williamsburg, new york:
- After London, Amsterdam, Paris there is now also a The Hoxton hotel in New York. And after New York you can now also book a room at The Hoxton in Portland and Chicago. Great news if you’re a Hox lover like me.
- The Hoxton hotel in Williamsburg in New York is located on the ‘hotel strip’ on Wythe Avenue.
- The rooms are very cool and you can choose between regular and bigger and Brooklyn or Manhattan view.
- What we always love about The Hoxton hotels is that you don’t feel like a tourist because it’s one of those hotels where locals always love to stop by for breakfast, drinks or dinner.
- On the ground floor you find restaurant Klein’s that serves an all day menu and in the evening is a very cool place to go for a drink at the bar with bites or dinner.
- And did we mention The Hoxton hotel in Williamsburg has a great rooftop bar that is open when the weather is nice? Summerly is a must visit! Even if you don’t stay in the hotel!

Uitzicht op Manhattan
Van ontbijt tot diner bij Klein’s
Op de begane grond van The Hoxton zit Klein’s. Het restaurant serveert een all-day-menu en een extra menu speciaal voor diner. Deze hotspot heeft een gezellige bistro-style inrichting. Eye-catcher is de grote bar waar je ook heel erg leuk zit om wat te drinken of een kleiner hapje te eten. In de lobby kun je trouwens ook gerechten van Klein’s bestellen en kiezen uit een beknopter menu. Ik heb dat bijvoorbeeld gedaan voor een laat ontbijt op de dag van vertrek.
Natuurlijk heb ik ook een avond bij Klein’s gegeten. Voor diner kun je kiezen om te gaan voor gerechten om te delen en verschillende lekkere hoofdgerechten van Cacio e Pepe pasta tot bavette en zwaardvis. Als side is Brussels (sprouts) een aanrader! Ga na het eten zeker nog een drankje doen op de rooftop als het mooi weer is. Daarover hieronder meer!
