Of all the cities in the world, New York remains one of my favorites. I just got back from my (six-)monthly trip, and I stayed in some of the most beautiful new boutique hotels in New York. In this blog post, I'm listing five new hotels you'll definitely want to check out! Want more tips for the Big Apple? Then check out our extensive list. New York Travel Guide with more than 100 hotspots!
Public Hotel: Unfortunately, this hotel wasn't open yet when we booked our trip, but luckily we were able to take a look at the rooftop during our week in New York. Located on Chrystie Street in the Lower East Side, it's undoubtedly the hottest talk in Manhattan right now. The fact that the hotel's owner also once owned the iconic Studio 54 probably has something to do with that. The hotel's decor is warm and chic, it has several restaurants, and a fantastic rooftop terrace. You do need to request a reservation in advance. And with a bit of luck, it will be confirmed, and you'll be enjoying brunch, dinner, or cocktails. Dress to impress! This is one of the most upscale new boutique hotels in New York.

1 hotel Brooklyn Bridge Hotel: In my opinion, the Dumbo neighborhood in Brooklyn is getting better and better. And the opening of the new 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge definitely has something to do with that! The rooftop is amazing. Just make sure you get there early if you want a table. Reservations require a minimum spend of $100, and since you can't really dine there, I wouldn't recommend it. The hotel rooms are beautifully decorated and have everything you need. There's even a filter tap so you can drink tap water. I haven't seen it in a hotel room in New York before, but I find it incredibly welcoming. The hotel lobby is also very cool and a great place to relax with a glass of wine after a day in the city. In the summer, the hotel has a fantastic rooftop pool where you can easily spend the whole day!

The Williamsburg Hotel: Wythe Avenue has been transformed into Williamsburg's premier hotel street. We used to always stay at the Wythe Hotel, but now there's also the more affordable The Williamsburg Hotel, which reminds me of it in terms of style. Modern, urban rooms, bikes for rent, and a rooftop with exciting construction still underway. I'm really curious to see what's coming! A restaurant, rooftop bar, or a pool? Next time we're in New York, I think the entire hotel will be finished, and I'll tell you all about it!

The William Vale Hotel: This hotel undoubtedly has the most beautiful rooftop bar in New York right now. Even if you're not staying at the William Vale Hotel, a visit to Westlight is a must-do on your bucket list. The pool is also absolutely fantastic if you're visiting New York in the height of summer! Our room had a small balcony overlooking Williamsburg and Greenpoint, and from where we could also see the Empire State Building. Absolutely fantastic! The only downside: I didn't like the room's decor. Too much art, no clear style, and it just wasn't quite right. So when booking a room, be sure to check out the different styles they offer and specify your preference when making your reservation!

The Hoxton New York: And finally... my fifth tip isn't available for booking yet, but if you're going to New York at the end of 2017, you'll want to keep this one in mind. Trust me! Last month, The Hoxton Paris The Hoxton New York is already open, and the fantastic news is that it's opening soon in trendy Williamsburg, Brooklyn. You can probably guess where I'll be staying on my next trip to New York! This will definitely be one of the most beautiful new boutique hotels in New York!
