De city is split in half by the Willamette river. Portland is know for its creativity and craftsmanship you see all over the city, but the East side still has that rough side and feel like you are in Brooklyn. Rent a bike to explore the city and discover its hidden gems. I really loved all the different food trucks pods, the third wave coffee bars and lifestyle hotels like the ACE Hotel and The Hoxton.
