Wolf Atelier Amsterdam: fine dining at a unique location

2 August 2016

Psst… Wolf Atelier is totally new and you want to taste it!

You can put Wolf Atelier in Amsterdam on your to-visit-list, because it’s without a doubt one of the best restaurants where we had dinner the last few weeks. The restaurant already opened the doors in 2015, but now they finally remodeled the place and have the concept as it should be. A new interior design, a new menu and an even better vibe. And while the location on a former bridge near Westerdok is not a location you just pass by so you have to know it to be able to go there and book a table. Time for us to share this secret with you ;-). I totally loved the interior design with a lot of green, wood and crisp white table cloths.

Wolf Atelier Amsterdam

At Wolf Atelier in Amsterdam Chef Michael Wolf is cooking like a star! There are several tables with a good view on the kitchen where you can see his team at work. I always like that and usually book the chef’s table when I’m going out for dinner. Wolf Atelier is open for lunch and dinner and during the lunch they also serve dishes from their TARTAR-IA. Six different steak tartars that you can order in different sizes Sounds good! So I think we’re going back for lunch soon.

This is the menu at Wolf Atelier Amsterdam

We went to Wolf Atelier for a night of wining and dining. The menu offers a wide range of a la carte dishes or you can choose a four- or five course set menu that changes with the season (€ 39,- and € 45,-). If you order a la carte dishes they have set prizes for the different courses: starter € 13,-, main € 22,- and dessert € 8,50. Looking at the value for money this is very reasonable priced. The food is amazing! And it’s great to see how passionate Chef Michael is when he tells about the menu and brings the dishes to your table. This young Chef worked at restaurants like Oud Sluis*** and you can tell by the quality of the food his schooling is proper. I already liked his style of cooking when he worked at Envy but his own restaurant like Wolf Atelier is even better.  I can’t wait to go back with a group of friends for dinner. Just check out the photos and judge for yourself. I’m sure this new hotspot went straight on your to-visit-list!
