Stach Café Amsterdam: breakfast and lunch in the Spiegelkwartier

29 November 2016

are you a fan of the stach stores? you’ll want to get to know the stach café!

Situated at only a couples of metres away from their smallest place in the Spiegelstraat is Stach Café. So if you don’t feel like having sandwiches to go and eat at home, settle down here! And to be honest, I think it’s a great idea of theirs. Especially in the Spiegelkwartier, where there’s a lack of nice places where you can actually have a seat for breakfast or lunch. My prediction is that Stach Café in the canal ring of Amsterdam might get pretty popular. A cheerful blue facade, the menu written out on the window in the well-known Stach handwriting. From now on you’ll visit Stach Café for burger and wraps for lunch and dinner, but you can also have breakfast here. A solid one, with eggs that they prepare in almost every way possible. For the sweet tooth among us they have pancakes for breakfast (or for an all day brunch!) and for if you prefer something healthier they also serve a yogurt bowl with granola. You eat this while sitting at small wooden bistro tables!

Personally I often shop at Stach; that might be because there’s always a Stach somewhere on the way to my home when I don’t feel like cooking. That’s why I especially enjoy the fact that I can actually take a seat at Stach Café instead of (a little more cheerless) eating a sandwich inside the store. Let me inspire you for a perfect date on a lazy Sunday: first breakfast at Stach Café and then on to the Rijksmuseum which is just around the corner!

The address of Stach Café Amsterdam is Nieuwe Spiegelstraat 56 and they’re open seven days a week. Every day from 8AM till 10PM and on Sunday from 9AM till 9pm.

What’s your favourite sandwich from Stach? Without a doubt, mine’s the Vitello Tonato! OH MY!
