30 November 2016

It’s the last day of November and that means two things: tomorrow begins the party – and last – month of the year and we may look back on a wonderful month full of new hotspots. Also the past month, Amsterdam has been quite busy. From trendy neighborhood pubs to Asian eateries, these are the best new hotspots Amsterdam in november 2016.

Bartack: last month, Bartack opened on the edge of Rembrandtpark at the Postjesweg, This is the newest neighborhood pub of this area in West. The concept resembles that of Bar Spek: an all day spot for breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks. The resemblance is not so surprising, because it’s from the same owners.

benjis amsterdam

Benji’s: also the Wibaut gained yet another hotspot. Benji opened its doors and fits perfectly with The Breakfast Club, Drovers Dog and The Pool. Also here you can drop by for good coffee, breakfast and lunch. The place is filled with plants, so hello urban jungle!

nieuwe hotspots in amsterdam

Dum Dum Palace: one of the best caterers in town, HotMamaHot, has opened its first restaurant at the Zeedijk in the Red Light District. At Dum Dum palace you enter a magical world for dumplings, rendang fries, homemade beers, G&T’s and vodka.

mooie_boules_bar_amsterdam

Mooie Boules Bar: this one’s a temporary new hotspot: the pop up of the Mooie Boules Bar at the Westergas. Perhaps the most original pop up of the year, because this is the place to go to play a game of boules with your friends.

oosterbar-amsterdam-600x450

Oosterbar: in the Oosterpark, in the basement of the designhostel of Generator, it’s party time every Friday and Saturday. Oosterbar opened its doors and it offers you the perfect in betweener: no bar with only pop songs or a club with solely house music, but besides cocktails, shots and other alcohols also different kinds of music on the menu. Perfect!

cha house amsterdam

Cha House: besides Dum Dum Palace another Asian hotspot opened the doors. On the Linnaeusstraat in Amsterdam-East Cha House is ready for you. This is the new place to go for lots of different dim sum, sushi and ramen.

hearth amsterdam

Hearth: November has also been good for the vegetarians among us. Hearth is now open on the Albert Cuyp. A new place to go for vegetarian meals, sustainable streetwear and durable items for the home.

borrl kitchen amsterdam

Borrl Kitchen: oh oh, we were so happy with this new hotspot on the Plantage Kerklaan at Artis. At the Borrl Kitchen they love the Friyay drinks not only on Friday, but as well as any other given day of the week. Oh and besides the drinks you can also enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner over here.

slowth brunch amsterdam

Slowth Brunch: good coffee and lunch with a twist, that’s what you get at the newest gem of Old-South. At Slow Brunch you get – besides the freshly baked pies – a surprising mix of Taiwanese snacks and dishes inspired by the Japanese colonization.

Kanarie Club Amsterdam

Kanarie Club: Meat West and Halte 3 in De Hallen made place for the Kanarie Club. This is a complete new horeca concept that focusses on the next generation hospitality. That means you can go here for food, work, drinks & dance.
