Parallel Amsterdam: for Burgundian Catalan dishes on the Overtoom

Parallel Amsterdam takes over from neighborhood favorite Buuf

While we're sad to say goodbye to Buuf, we couldn't wait for Parallel Amsterdam to arrive. Buuf closed last month after five years of serving affordable and delicious meals. Now, Parallel Amsterdam has taken up residence in Buuf's building at Overtoom 495.

We can now join Parallel Amsterdam for a new food concept with Spanish influences. I can smell tapas, Spanish sausage, and lots of red wine! The menu has been given a Burgundian Catalan touch, as they describe it, so that's going to be perfect. What makes this Spanish spot even more appealing is, of course, the large, sunny terrace they're taking over from Buuf. It almost feels like we're sitting on a terrace in Spain, doesn't it?!
