Petit Péché Amsterdam: the new hotspot of Oud-West

Emma

4 February 2024

Amsterdam Oud-West has a brand new hotspot – and it's high time to get acquainted. On Nicolaas Beetsstraat, near Kinkerstraat, you'll find Le Petit Péché Amsterdam, the second location from the owners of Café Beurre near the WesterparkPéché stands for the same quality, but within a different, innovative and surprising concept.

Why you should visit the unique Le Petit Péché Amsterdam

Anyone entering Le Petit Péché Amsterdam immediately knows: they do things differently here. Cooking is done behind a large bar, while dining is enjoyed at small round tables with white linens or on gleaming bar stools. If you choose the latter, you'll literally be in luck, watching Petit Péché's chefs create a truly magnificent meal live.

Menu Le Petit Péché

They cook these heavenly creations with truly special ingredients and products that, in their own words, are "often overlooked." From lamb meatballs to sweetbreads and forgotten vegetables: the chefs at Le Petit Péché create the most delicious dishes. And for good reason: there's a special purpose behind it. The owners believe that meat and fish can be cooked respectfully—and they're happy to share that knowledge with their guests and anyone who's interested. By using animals from head to tail, less is wasted. At Petit Péché, they know how to handle every possible ingredient and add the warmth and flavors you've come to expect from Café Beurre. And believe us: it's as good as it sounds.

**Due to COVID-19, souvenirs are now available in bulk ❄️ Note to self: always keep room in your suitcase for 'souvenirs'. During my ski trip to Méribel, I popped into the local pharmacy just before leaving, and these are the beauty products I took home. I've tested them extensively and they're all more than YLBB-approved. Save them for your next trip to France (or your online beauty store). Which souvenirs always make it back in your suitcase? I'm curious! ✖️✖️✖️ 🖊️ @anne_de_buck PS: Follow @yourlbb for tons of tips to make the most of your free time — from travel tips to travel guides and more.
