Amsterdam Oud-West has a brand new hotspot – and it’s high time to get acquainted with it. On the Nicolaas Beetsstraat, near the Kinkerstraat, you will find Le Petit Péché Amsterdam, the second business of the owners of Café Beurre at Westerpark. Péché stands for the same quality but within a different, innovative, and surprising concept.

Why you want to visit the unique Le Petit Péché Amsterdam

Anyone who enters the space of Le Petit Péché Amsterdam immediately knows they approach things differently here. They cook from behind a large bar, while dining is done at small round tables with white linen or from shiny bar stools. If you choose the latter option, you will be in luck and watch live how Petit Péché’s chefs cook the meal of your dreams.

They cook that meal of your dreams with exceptional ingredients and products that, in their own words, are ‘often forgotten.’ From lamb balls to sweetbreads and forgotten vegetables, the chefs of Le Petit Péché create the most delicious dishes. That is not random: there is a particular purpose behind it. The owners believe that meat and fish can be cooked respectfully – and they are happy to share that knowledge with their guests and anyone who wants to hear about it. By using animals from head to tail, less is lost. At Petit Péché, they know what to do with every possible ingredient and add the warmth and flavors that you are used to from Café Beurre. And believe us, that’s as good as it sounds.
