Recently opened on the Overtoom, gelateria Miuz is a welcome addition to our capital city! The owner is an authentic Italian who grew up in Turin. Having lived in the Netherlands for ten years, he missed his youth and his homeland’s creamy ice cream flavours. So he took matters into his own hands, and Miuz became a reality. Ice cream lovers owe it to themselves to visit Miuz, as the owner makes the ice cream from scratch, using ingredients like fair trade cocoa beans and dairy from local farms without added flavourings. In addition to classic flavours, the team experiments with creations like burrata gelato, cappuccino, and tiramisu flavours.

This is the place to be around Westerpark for ice cream and fries. Even the cones here are delicious (think sprinkles โ always a winner!). They also serve very tasty milkshakes, and maybe even better: you can buy the ice cream to take home in containers starting from 0.5 litres.

Walking down Haarlemmerstraat, you can’t miss Jordino’s storefront. It always displays brightly coloured artwork made of chocolate and marzipan.
