Blijburg Amsterdam: permanent spot by the water in IJburg

10 November 2015

great spot to chll in winter and summer

Finally the nomadic existence of Blijburg Amsterdam has come to an end. After having to move three times (!!), they have finally settled down for good now. Four times is a charm, right? At Blijburg they’re very happy with this, and we are too! Because that means that we don’t have to wait for the summer to start before we can drink a refreshing drink by the beach in IJburg. Because we can also go there in winter! As in now!

More hotspots in Amsterdam

Although Blijburg has its very own permanent spot now, they cherish their nomadic roots. Their permanent spot is twice as big as their previously spots, but the cosy, beachy feeling hasn’t gotten any less. At the new Blijburg you get some great views of the IJssel lake, and there is a fireplace. This one turns the place into a very cosy meeting place. Perfect to catch up with your friends. Seven days a week you’re welcome here for lunch (with our favourites burrata and flammkuchen) and dinner (for example a daily changing special). Enjoy!
