Relaxed, enjoying unique beers and ciders, but also with excellent food.

Whether you’re dining extensively or having a drink at the bar, the apéritif menu with snacks is truly to die for, and so delicious. A restaurant we’ve been saying for a while that we really need to go back to is Lazuur in Amsterdam North. They are open for dinner on Christmas Eve and Boxing Day. A special dinner with the LALA’s, as the chefs of Lazuur and Lastage join forces for a culinary evening. Each of them prepares three courses, complemented by appetizers, so get ready for a delicious extensive 6-course dinner with wonderful matching drinks.
Hangar Noord
If you want to have lunch on Boxing Day, Hangar North is an option! The lunch menu here is extensive and offers something for everyone. It’s also a great place if you would like to have lunch with the kids on Boxing Day.

This old city farm transformed into a restaurant, café, and boutique hote is nestled in the greenery of Amsterdam East. After dinner, you can also stay overnight because The Lobby is the restaurant of Hotel V op de Fizeaustraat.

In a short time, he elevated Daalder to Michelin-star status, with their first Michelin star in 2021 as an accomplishment. His dishes are described as chic and refined, but without any pretension, and the somewhat raw setting of the restaurant (located at Het Sieraad) complements it perfectly.

The website doesn’t mention anything about a special menu, so I assume you can just enjoy à la carte dining. And that’s exactly what you want at a place like Verlan!

Dining at De Juwelier is always a culinary delight. Whether you’re downstairs, upstairs, or at the bar… I find the atmosphere in this place so pleasant. And I haven’t even mentioned the delicious dishes that change with the seasons. During the holidays, De Juwelier goes the extra mile with a fixed menu on the 24th, 25th, and 26th of December. A 5-course dinner is served, and you can already check it out when reserving a table via the website. From pheasant to langoustine, if we weren’t abroad ourselves, I would reserve this menu in a heartbeat!
