Recently you can stay the night in Amsterdam at YAYS. Guarded apartments in the best neighbourhoods of Amsterdam. This means that you are staying in a real apartment (or studio) with the service of a hotel. Obviously we want to take that opportunity ourselves. So recently we stayed at YAYS at the Oostenburgergracht. In a stately old Amsterdam school with a dozen apartments where you can spend the night with 2-4 persons.
In an apartment like this you will feel like a local in the neighbourhood. And of course the concierge will be there to look after you by giving tips about the neighbourhood you are staying in. In Amsterdam YAYS has apartments at the following locations: Bickersgracht, Zoutkeetsgracht and also at the Oostenburgergracht where we stayed.
As a pro travel blogger it happens quit often that I stay the weekend in a different city. And to be honest at those moments I really like to stay in a serviced apartment. The room is usually a bit spacier than a hotel room and it contains a seating area with a small kitchen where you can make your own breakfast. What I personally like about it is that I don’t have to do my work on the bed with my laptop on my lap. Another big advantage is that you can rent the serviced apartments with more than 2 persons. Perfect for a weekend trip with friends!
