Rosalia’s Menagerie Amsterdam: a cocktail bar in the city centre

18 July 2017

Rosalia’s Menagerie Amsterdam is your livingroom at night

Rosalia’s Menagerie Amsterdam is a cocktail bar on the Wallen in the heart of Amsterdam where the bartenders are shaking cocktails till the late hours. At the Kloveniersburgwal, around the corner of the Nieuwmarkt you can find this cocktail bar that you should definitely to check, if you have not already been there. The cocktail bar is different than most. Rosalia’s Menagerie Amsterdam has a chic living room kind of atmosphere with animals! There’s a flower wallpaper, vintage tables and chairs, dotted bats, bird cages and other items that will bring you back in time.

In case you wonder where the name comes from, then the interior will give you a hint. A menagerie is a collection of wild and exotic animals and Rosalia is the name of Alina’s grandmother, one of the owners. Nice!

Back to the cocktails, because they are classic and sometimes really special. You can for example order a cocktail with peas. Yep, the green veggies. Do you have no idea which cocktail you’ll like? On the menu you will find a flavour description of every cocktail, which makes making a decision maybe a little bit easier. You can also order a matching snack. Think of toast with crab and homemade gyoza. Both your cocktail and bite are going to be a surprise!

The cocktails are served in special vintage glasses that you won’t find anywhere else in Amsterdam, that’s something Rosalia’s Menagerie Amsterdam made sure of. Plan a cocktail date with friends or your lover and you’ll have a special, unforgettable evening!
