Cocktails and dinner at Remise47 in Hotel De Hallen
De Hallen are hot! In this former tram-shed in Amsterdam West you find the new indoor food market the Foodhallen but also design hotel De Hallen and its nice restaurant: Remise 47. A new Chef will start there this fall and I’m already excited to go back again.
In the morning the breakfast of the hotel is served at Remise47. But the good news is that you can also stop by for breakfast is you’re not a hotel guest. For lunch my favourite is the sandwich with Vitello Tonato, but I heard the burger is great too.
When I stayed at Hotel De Hallen I had dinner at the restaurant. They have a great concept with 3-courses for € 34,50. Very reasonable! I had a ceviche with a twist and cod with foam of lobster. If you have some space left the creme brulé with ginger.
Tip: before or after dinner it’s fun to have a cocktail at the bar.
