OMG: Amsterdam gets its own Pug café

17 December 2017

Pug Café Amsterdam opens the doors on january 26, 27 & 28 2018

Did you hear? Amsterdam gets a Pug café! That’s right, a café that is completely dedicated to the pug. This pop-up café will be held in De Ruyschkamer on January 26, 27 & 28, so I had to laugh when I saw the Facebook event. Because I live there in the street! Personally, I think this Pug café in Amsterdam is the most fun if you have a Pug yourself. Then your Pug can play endlessly with other Pugs. Earlier we wrote about the Pug Café in London!

What can you expect as a dog owner at the Pug Café in Amsterdam? Tasty snacks and drinks for you and your Pug, games to play, do it yourself dog toy workshops and information sessions about the pug. Are you not the owner of a Pug? No worries! In the Pug café in Amsterdam you’re also welcome if you don’t have a Pug, but want to learn everything about these doggies or just want to cuddle an afternoon with Pugs.

Due to the overwhelming success of the first announcements about the Pug Café in Amsterdam, it’s not yet 100% certain whether it can take place in De Ruyschkamer or whether they have to move to a larger location. Good to know: the entrance of this pop-up is not free and to be sure of a place you have to buy a ticket in advance on this website. If you have a Pug yourself you pay € 5,- and without a Pug even € 10,-. But … this money is donated to the dog protection, so you’re actually doing a good deed at the beginning of the new year!
