Pizza in Amsterdam at Mangiassai in Amsterdam East

27 March 2013

One of the best spots for pizza in Amsterdam: Mangiassai

Once in a while I go out for pizza in Amsterdam. More specifically: I cross the street and go to Mangiassai. At Mangiassai they have a beautiful brick kiln to make delicious pizza in Amsterdam. This little restaurant is always crowded, so if you want to go there with a group i’ll advice to make a reservation. Fresh made pizza in Amsterdam with choice of several styles with vegetables or cured ham, love it! If you’re not into pizza there are some very good pasta dishes on the menu as well, like the pasta Vongole. At Mangiassai you eat authentic Italian dishes and pizza in Amsterdam, the owners are from Puglia in the South of Italy. If you’re looking for a nice restaurant to eat with friends or just a quick bite on a week night Mangiassai is a great restaurant for pizza in Amsterdam East. One of my neighbourhood favorites! If you’re living in the Amsterdam East district you can order pizza for take out as well. PS: try the antipasti as a starter :-).
