Pesca Amsterdam: now open on the Rozengracht

11 May 2016

the very first fish theatre of the netherlands at pesca amsterdam

Are you also crazy about fresh fish from the market? Then you definitely want to go to Pesca Amsterdam. Because this is the country’s first fish theatre! The men behind Pesca are giving a whole new meaning to ‘theatre’. Here you choose your fish at different stalls, just as the market. Fresh salmon, tuna, mackerel, plaice, redfish, cod or shellfish… Then you can sit and enjoy a drink and your fish will be freshly prepared. Isn’t that nice? Besides your fish, you can also choose different side dishes. Is your dish ready? Then you can pick up at the stall.

This makes Pesca Amsterdam not a standard restaurant. Because there will be no staff but the chefs. It’s in between a foodtruck and a restaurant, sounds good right? It makes Pesca the very first fish theatre, we like!

And now the fish theatre has finally opened its doors. Check their facebook-page for their catch of the day! One thing is for sure: I’m definitely going there asap!
