THE BEST PANCAKES CAN BE FOUND AT PANCAKES AMSTERDAM WESTERMARKt
The best pancakes in Amsterdam can, of course, be found at PANCAKES Amsterdam Westermarkt. With already two location, we knew it wouldn’t take long before they opened a third one. It’s finally here, on the Westermarkt, next to the Anne Frank house.
Us, pancake addicts, couldn’t resist and decided to go to try the famous pancakes of Amsterdam on a sunny Sunday afternoon. With Google Maps at hand we strolled down the Prinsengracht, which wasn’t necessary because the third location of PANCAKES Amsterdam is ten times as big as the first location on the Berenstraat, and so impossible to miss. Once you’re inside you’re not only welcomes by the friendly staff, but also by a large, open space filled with Dutch details and a lot of light wood. Cosy!

And now, continuing to the pancakes, because that’s what we came for ;-). After half an hour of staring at the menu we made a decision. We left the traditional pancakes with bacon, cheese, and a lot of syrup behind us and went for the American Pancakes with blueberry sauce and ice cream, and the Apple Crumble Pancake; a pancake with a piece of apple pie, crumble, cinnamon, and vanilla sauce. OMG, so good!
