There’s another world scoop for Amsterdam, because a few weeks ago the very first Jaz in the City hotel opened its doors in the city! We were not yet familiar with this brand new concept, but after an overnight stay we know for sure: there’s a new hotspot in town! Everything is new about the Jaz in the City concept and all is focussed on generation Y! This means that they’ve made special effort to meet the wishes of you and me.
For example, the hotel has a super eye-catching design, is equipped with ultra modern functionalities and makes use of intuitive technology. How? Well, Jaz Amsterdam has a special app for your smartphone that keeps you informed about all the must-do’s in the city, leads the way and also functions as your room key, how nice is that?
And that’s not even all, because Jaz in the City is steeped in the city culture of Amsterdam. The hotel, situated next to the Ziggo Dome, provides a platform for artists and dj’s and shows art expo’s of local talent. In every corner of the building, the musical atmosphere is coming towards you. Its own bar-restaurant is – of course – also dazed in international musical spheres and is – very fittingly – named Rhythms. Here you can eat the most delicious burgers, yum!
Another plus: when a big artist is playing at the Ziggo Dome, you can watch the long queues of people from the hotel. Before and after a concert, Jaz provides live performances as well and you’ll see the place getting crowded. But don’t be afraid that you’ll won’t find your rest, because the rooms of the hotels are amazing! Super dark curtains, a king size bed and of course super stylish, we love!
Tip: Visit Jaz in the City also for just breakfast, because the breakfast room is hidden behind a bookcase and they serve delicious artisan cheeses and homemade roast beef, mmm!
