15 x nice spots for a date night in amsterdam with some drinks after

Panache: Panache in Amsterdam west is perfect for a fun date night in Amsterdam. Here you can sit at one of the high tables, enjoy the great atmosphere and a good menu. The bites & cocktails after are a must try, they’re delicious!

The Walter Woodbury BarThere are so many nice spots on the Javastraat, but where to go? The Walter Woodbury Bar of course. Take your date to this spot and enjoy the food together and catch up while having some drinks.

Kanarie Club: The Kanarie Club in the Hallen is one of our favourite spots in Amsterdam. Good food, lovely atmosphere and you know right away that it’s going to be a late one. A perfect spot for date night in Amsterdam. Ps: drink your cocktail after in the pool ;-)

Pllek: For a romantic date night you have to go to Pllek in North. Sit down on the terrace along the water, watch the sunset and order some food and drinks after a delicious dinner. Planned a date night during the winter? Go inside and snuggle up near the fire place.

Madam: On the 20th floor of the A’DAM Tower, you’ll find Madam. The spot for a great view on the city, which makes it a lovely place for date night. After dinner, go downstairs to get some cocktails and dance!

Café van Mechelen: Industrial and super trendy! Café van Mechelen is divided into different areas with different vibes. Start with dinner in one corner, and move to the bar to have some drinks after.

Labyrinth: When you see the menu with soul food at Labyrinth in Amsterdam South, you just want to try it all. Make sure you plan enough time for this date night, because after the food you might want to try some of the best cocktails. Check out the agenda, because they organise fun events like poetry readings here!

Ku Kitchen Bar: Does your date, and you too, crave sushi? Go to Ku Kitchen Bar! Eating sushi can take all evening, but once you’re done eating then you want to try the drinks here.

Libertine Café: Open from early in the morning until late in the evening, so perfect for date night. You can start your date in the afternoon if you want. Order multiple, small dishes to share and your date will start great! Had some drinks? Walk along the canals and the romantic lights.

Louie Louie: If you want to have a long date until in the late hours, then you want to go Louie Louie in Amsterdam East. The menu is inspired by the South-American cuisine, which is reason enough to go here. Nice: when it’s summer, you can site outside and enjoy the long summer nights.

De Bajes: This is a street art restaurant in Amsterdam close to the Rembrandtplein. It might not be the most romantic place for a date, but it’s unique and they have good food. They’re open until late, so having drinks after won’t be a problem at all.

Hotel Buiten: For a romantic date in the nature, you go to Hotel Buiten. It actually isn’t a hotel. But it’s a fun spot along the Sloterplas in Amsterdam West. Escape from the busy city center and relax while having a drink .

5&33: 5&33 is close to the station, so perfect for when you or your date doesn’t come from Amsterdam and has to take the train to get home. Or book a room at the Art’Otel if you’re having a real good time ;-). At 5&33, food and art come together, so this spot has a special touch which makes date night extra fun.
