Earlier, we wrote about the best croissants in Amsterdam (definitely check out that list before you proceed here), but now it’s time for more: culinary croissants are an absolute hit. True croissant connoisseurs know what’s up and regularly visit these Amsterdam’s hotspots.

Saint Jean

Saint Jean is experiencing undeniable popularity, thanks to TikTok and, of course, the now-famous cruffins, which are essentially (vegan, in this case) culinary croissants. The lines are enormous, and the weekly returning visitors prove this is a must-go place for your weekly dose of culinary croissants and good coffee.

Rise Bakery

Rise Bakery is a classic destination for anyone in search of culinary croissants. We could say that your search begins and ends here. At this unique spot on the Albert Cuyp market, there is plenty of experimentation with flavors and dough. For example, the cheese croissant comes with spicy jalapeño, and the almond croissant is filled with dark chocolate.

Their square croissant has become one of their signature treats, filled with chamomile, cherry, ricotta, and red pesto. Whether you have a sweet tooth or crave savory snacks, both will be happy here.
