The perfect night in to me is with a cheese platter and wine ;-)
In the winter I love to go cheese shopping! Selecting my favourite cheeses… and always trying a new one too. Discovering new tastes and cheese / wine combinations is one of my hobbies. Actually it’s my hobby for food and wine pairings in general ;-), but this blog is all about cheese! A few weeks ago I visited the Castello pop-up store in The Hague and bought some delicious cheese and chutneys for a night in at home. Luckily my love is just as much of a cheese fan as I am. So last night we spoiled ourself with red wine, Castello reserve Hervati (the hard cheese) and Castello white (the soft cheese).
I like to present my cheese on a special wooden cheese plate from HK Living and use special cheese knifes of Laquiole. Always works well as a desert on dinner parties too!
Until December 24 you can buy all the Castello cheeses at the pop-up store in The Hague (Babylon tower, next to The Hague Central Station).
