Hotspot for creatives: Ashes to Snow Amsterdam
We at Yourlbb quite like shops that aren’t really that easy to categorise. Ashes to Snow in Amsterdam East is definitely one of them. First and foremost it’s a high-end hair atelier. But it’s also a gallery, a shop and a stage for music or other performances. Sometimes they even have pop-up shops! So there’s plenty to do and to see at Ashes to Snow and we like that a lot!

Here you can walk in for a cup of coffee, for a good reading session, to check out an exposition or to listen to music. And all this while getting a hair cut. At Ashes to Snow they have really special hair stylists as they are part of the Vagabond Hair Artists team. These hair stylists see the scissors as a pencil and the hair as a canvas. All haircuts will become true artworks. Without losing sight of what the customer’s wishes are. How cool is that? So definitely go there if you really don’t know how you want your hair to look like anymore – or if you’re in the mood to surround yourself with creativity.
