Lunch in Maastricht at Marres Kitchen
Marres Kitchen is one of the latest hotspots in Maastricht. And it’s already my favourite place for lunch in Maastricht. Great choice of healthy and delicious Mediterranean dishes. Marres Kitchen is the museum cafe of the cultural centre Marres at the Capucijnenstraat in the city centre of Maastricht. So before or after lunch you can always visit the exhibition. At Marres they have a beautiful garden and in the summer of 2013 Marres Kitchen will open an outdoor restaurant. The huge oven is already there! I think Marres Kitchen is a very nice spot for lunch in Maastricht or just a coffee. They’re open till 7 pm so you can also try an early dinner! The long picnic tables combined with design chairs make a relaxed looking interior. We had the aubergine salad with pomegranate and a caprese salad. Delicious!
