What a great start of our vacation! I’m so glad we’re spending a night in luxury before traveling to Borneo. Don’t we all love enormous beds with clean and soft sheets and pillows… Looking back it’s clear that this was the best night’s sleep we’ve had during our 2,5 weeks of traveling. And we’re no typical backpack tourists that sleep in hammocks or cheap hostels. We like a little luxury you know.
When checked in make your way to the executive lounge upstairs if you booked this exclusive addition. They serve typical Malaysian eats there. And it’s all you can eat! The open bar (!) is also a huge plus. ;-)
Otherwise relax at the cozy sofas downstairs and have a few drinks there.
What’s more relaxing then jumping into the pool after a long flight from Amsterdam.. We felt totally refreshed after this!
Bangsar, trendy wijk in Kuala Lumpur
After this get yourselves a taxi and have it take you to Bangsar Village, only a 5 minute drive away from The Pullman Hotel. Shop for some new outfits or drink a coffee at PLan B.
Then just stroll around and choose one of the hip restaurants to eat that evening. Most nice places are located between Jalan Telawi and Jalan Kemuja. Bangsar is a neighborhood where a lot of expats are situated. Probably this is why there are so many cool places to choose from. Even though the hotel is quite new, the service at The Pullman Bangsar was outstanding. Just like the breakfast we had the next morning. I just love it when they serve a great breakfast. I don’t get that at home…
We didn’t make it to their enormous gym this time. But that’s not really my thing when being on holiday anyway. But that Spa… too bad it opened after we left.
