For me, Barcelona is one of those cities where I truly enjoy the combination of city and beach. Barcelona has countless sights you'll want to see at least once, but you can also easily fill your days hopping from tapas bar to tapas bar. Keep in mind that many places are closed in the afternoon, but believe me, you can easily fill that time with shopping.
