what a food showย at Tickets bar in Barcelona
It feels like in almost every corner something is happening. From the waiter uniforms to the menus, from the plates to the interior of the restaurant, a lot of thought has been put into this place. Recommended for an unforgettable night!
Albert Adriร , the brother of Ferran (exactly, THE Ferran Adriร of el Bulli) is the creative hero here. The restaurant located at Parallel, between Sant Antoni and Poble Sec, is really one-of-a-kind.
Legendary dishes from el Bulli
We can absolutely say it’s an experience eating here. Some dishes (small and larger tapas) are inspired on legendary dishes of el Bulli (!!!). You will be looking forward to every course you order. It’s surprise after surprise. Not only because all dishes taste spectacular but also because it all just looks damn good. We’re talking straight up #foodporn here…
Uniqueย tapas
I won’t sum up all 20 courses (what? They’re tapas!) we had, but just to name a couple:
Blackcurrent Merinque Churros with Raifort Crรจme, ย Suckling Pig with its Mini Ciabatta,ย Nordic Landscape,ย Trip to Seoul. We paired it with theย Rioja wine Angeles de Amaren, and that’s one hell great wine for a great price.
We always quite know how to spend well on food…. Here it’s possible to spend a whole night eating Michelin star dishes while not spending your entire holiday budget. And if you do overspendย a bit, swah. Just plan a night of cheap pinxtos snacking for the day after (at calle Blai, blog coming up). Life is all about being in balance people…ย
Also want to eat at Tickets? Remember to book in time: that is 2 months before the site opens up new tables. Book it!
If you’re going to Barcelona you also need a place to stay right? Have a look a these cool options: yok Casa + Cultura and the Praktik Rambla. We loved them!
