Every year in November, the Museum Night takes place as a tradition. December and January then make way for the Amsterdam Light Festival, but those aren’t the only times you can enjoy a cultural evening in the capital. Foam
Amsterdam Photography Museum, FOAM, is located on the Keizersgracht in the centre. You can enjoy modern photography with extraordinary stories all week long, and on Thursdays and Fridays the museum is even open until 9 p.m. Special events are regularly organized on Thursdays in the evenings, with the exhibiting photographers present.

The Anne Frank House is always busy, but with some luck, you won’t have to slalom around the crowds in the evenings. The museum is open every evening until 10 p.m. You can book a time slot every Tuesday at 10 a.m. for the next six weeks.

Eye Film Museum
The Eye Film Museum is open daily until 7 p.m., just in time to sneak in after work. Fortunately, the cinema section and the restaurant are available until late evening, so nothing stands in the way of your cultural evening. Anyone who gets overstimulated easily won’t want to go here, for everyone else it is a must: the NXT Museum in Amsterdam-North. From Sunday to Tuesday, they are open until 8:30 PM, and from Thursday to Saturday, they are open until 10:30 PM. This AI and Digital Art museum attracts visitors from all over the world and is unique in its kind. Afterward, you can have dinner or drinks at Restaurant Metro, right next to it.
