The Cannibal is your spot for specialty beers and lots of meat!
Well what do you know… I’m not really a big fan of this area, but I’m glad we walked all the way over from our hotel at Central Park to The Cannibal in Murray Hill.
Unfortunately the outdoor patio is booked for an event. And I wanted to eat outside as much as possible. Bummer. But inside is actually also great. Now we can hear the hip hop music they’re playing. We like!
All dishes are meant for sharing. And I must say, even though they don’t really serve big portions, everything is very tasteful (house beef jerky!).
Just in case it wasn’t clear yet, meat, meat and MEAT is what’s being served here. And with that lots and lots of beer. From low-key lagers to the more sophisticated IPAs and special deliveries from outside the US. I was trying to make this easy dinner a bit more healthy with the radishes but can’t really say this vegetable side dish is what you want to order… Just stick with the meat.
Anyway, The Cannibal is a real treat for all you carnivores out there! And bring your friends to the cozy outdoor patio on a warm summer evening.
