As I walked through the streets of the Santo Spirito district in Florence I just had to stopStop by wine bar Il Santo Bevitore. A favorite of trendy Florentines! At Il Santo Bevitore, you can enjoy delicious Italian or French cheeses, charcuterie as soft as butter, and bruschetta with yummy toppings. This hidden gem is perfect for an aperitif!

As the trendy Italians come home from work, Il Santo Bevitore becomes increasingly busy, with people coming for a drink and a bite to eat before dinner. Ask the chef for a tasting platter with a mix of cheeses. So delicious!
Tip: if you want to eat something later in the evening, the restaurant of the same name next to trattoria Il Santo Bevitore is recommended.
