5 series for a lazy New Year’s Day

Nothing better than to lay in bed and watch series all day on New Year’s Day right? Despite all the fun New Year drinks in town. But I’ll go for a nice lazy Sunday or well, a lazy New Year’s Day, with my favourite series. Yourlbb has set up a list of five series that will help you kill your hangover. Enjoy!

1. Orphan Black

This science-fiction series is about Sarah Manning (Tatiana Maslany). Sarah has no family, lives on the street and steels to survive. One day, she sees a woman commit suicide at the train station; a woman who looks just like here. Sarah decides to take over her identity what makes her find out she is a clone. A super exciting series where one by one the clones get killed and Sara finds out more and more about the clone-project.

2. Perception

In this series Eric McCormack (known from Will & Grace) plays doctor Daniel Pierce. A professor of neuroscience with schizophrenia who now helps the FBI solve complex cases. Daniel is super smart and sees almost every case, but in addition, he suffers from hallucinations. A funny television series where in each episode another murder is solved.

3. Orange is the new Black

Although I can not imagine you missed this series, I’ll tell you about Orange is the new Black anyway. In this comedy series Piper Chapman (Taylor Schilling) is sentenced to 15 months in prison. A modern New York woman who suddenly goes through life in an orange overall. And prison life is hard, very hard.

4. The Blacklist

This crime series is about Raymond Reddington (James Spader), one of the most wanted criminals. One day, he reports himself to the FBI. He suddenly wants to help by sharing information and eliminate terrorists. He wants to share his blacklist of criminals. However, he only wants to work with Elizabeth Keen, a FBI profiler who has just started working for the FBI. Why? Watch this series to find out!

5. Fargo

This true story is based on the movie Fargo and a mix of drama and comedy. Take a sneak peek into the life of Lester Nygaard (played by Martin Freeman). A failed policy vendor with a successful brother and a woman who is bored with him. One day, Lester had enough. He breaks and than it goes wrong… Be warned: this is violent series!

Have fun and enjoy your lazy New Year’s Day!
