Photo-shoot for magazine Viva! Behind the scenes report

18 October 2014

Have you ever been at a professional photo-shoot? For Your Little Black Book I visited a very special one a few weeks ago. Very early in the morning I went to a studio in Amsterdam East together with magazine Viva to interview 3 women from Uganda for Viva 43.

As you probably all know I have a special relationship with Uganda. The father of my boyfriend is Ugandan and his parents have a house in Kampala. A great destination for holiday. I’m very happy that I can return a favour!

This month I support the campaign of Plan Nederland where they help girls in Uganda to live their dreams. Simply by not letting their dreams get ruined by something normal a as having their period. By donating € 5,- you can help 1 girl for 1 year. With this money she can buy sanitary pads and finish her school.

Power-women in Uganda

The Ugandan women in the photo-shoot for Viva magazine are real power-women. Women with a special story to tell about their lives. With this photo-shoot and interview they support this project in Uganda too.

In the behind the scenes report you can see how it works at a professional photo-shoot!
