WEEKEND! But also: SUMMER! Oh yes, this is the first weekend that’s it’s officially Summer time. And of course we have to celebrate that little fact ;-). I always love that, when the weather’s getting better and the summer months are approaching, there are lots of events outside. A movie night on Friday is always inside the house, underneath a blanket preferably, but we can now also enjoy that outside at Floor 17 – that also has a roller skating rink by the way – at 85 meters in the sky! But this weekend we can also dance on the silent disco party Vondel Disco, go shopping at a Vintage Sale in Amsterdam North or go dancing till the early morning in De Marktkantine. - Going on a boat ride through the canals is fun, but on a giant boat, wit music and a bar and going for a ride across the IJ is not bad at all. - Push your limits when it comes to food and food culture this weekend at the NDSM Wharf. They’re organizing the CryptoFood event. - Fun to do this Sunday: Lloyd Hotel Open Dag. Get to know the hotel and classical music. As there are several classical concerts in different spaces in the hotel.
