The Hoxton hotel Amsterdam: more than a hotel!

14 July 2015

Brunch, cocktails and sleeping at The Hoxton Amsterdam

Once in a while there’s a new hotel where you would love going to even if you’re not staying there for the night. The Hoxton hotel Amsterdam is one of those hotspots. It just opened but it already feels as if it has always been there. You can now stay for the night in super cool decorated rooms at the Herengracht in the corner or the Gasthuismolensteeg and the Hartenstraat.

But also if you’re not looking for a hotel then The Hoxton Amsterdam is still a hotspot to remember. Lotti’s Café Bar & Grill is their cool restaurant with an awesome cocktail bar where Amsterdam locals also go to. We were at the opening parties last week where the atmosphere and vibe was great!

Rooms x The Hoxton Amsterdam

The rooms at this hotspot in Amsterdam look amazing. With a dark floor, natural materials like leather and beautiful accent colours. I’ve already stayed for a night at The Hoxton in a lovely room with a view on the Keizersgracht. It’s great to wake up with a view on one of the most beautiful canals of Amsterdam! After the party in Lotti’s I slept like a little baby.

By the way, you don’t need to get our of your room for breakfast. You get your free breakfast simply by hanging the ‘breakfast bag’ on the door  and then in the morning you’ll find some fresh juice, granola and a banana in the bag. The breakfast bags are made by Stach, Another location in Amsterdam that we really like. Also nice: you can also just make some coffee or tea in your room for your breakfast. And to quench your thirst after a fun evening there’s a bottle of water in the mini bar!

Tip: during the weekend there’s a delicious brunch at Lotti’s Bar & Grill. It’s nice to go there with friends as a closure of the weekend.

Curious if you like The Hox just as much as I do!
