In this Tokyo Travel Guide I share my best travel tips from my first trip to this unique city. I fell in love with Japan and I canโt wait to go back to explore more destinations in the country.
When I look back at my travels from the past few years Tokyo is for sure one of the most special destinations that I travelled to. I canโt really compare it with another city. Itโs so big and yet so well organised and clean. I was also surprised that itโs not just high rise buildings.
A lot of neighbourhoods feel cosy and are perfect for cycling. In Tokyo it seems that you find great restaurants for sushi, ramen and Japanese barbecue on almost every corner. Sometimes you will feel like the movie Lost in translation because you have no idea what the signs on the streets say.
Thatโs why I created this Tokyo City Guide to give you a kick-start to this city. From the hipster neighbourhoods to Shinjuku and Shibuya. Tokyo is one of those towns where you can easily spend a week without seeing it all. So my advice is to create a day to day planning to make the most of your trip!
