Trendy rooftop bar, cool pop-up shop, nice restaurant at the Wythe Hotel in Brooklyn’s hippest neighborhood Williamsburg

Friends and family are always asking me which places in New York they should really see. What I always tell them is “Go To Brooklyn”!
And obviously I always mention Williamsburg. Williamsburg is one of the hipster neighborhoods in Brooklyn. It’s a really easygoing place with lots of shops, restaurants and bars. Expensive also. We’ve heard from many locals that people are even moving back to Manhattan as it is cheaper to rent an apartment there…

Anyway. One of the hotspots high on the list I send them is the Wythe Hotel on 80 Wythe Ave in Williamsburg.

A great outdoor spot to enjoy the sunset is The Ides. This rooftop bar on top of the Wythe Hotel gets packed so be sure to go there on time. Be prepared to stand in line. But don’t worry, the line normally goes quite fast. The views up there are beautiful.

The restaurant Reynards is situated on the ground floor. Looks like a great brunch or lunch spot to me.
